An opportunity for Health Systems
An opportunity for Health Systems to establish their region as a governance and data-ready, fast access environment for innovative medicines.
Most jurisdictions share the desire to become a location of choice for Life Sciences, to stimulate economic growth (attracting and developing local skills and expertise), and to improve health outcomes. They recognise that this requires the provision of early access to innovation and the removal of barriers to Phase IV / post-marketing clinical trials activity.
However, to achieve this, their Health Systems need to overcome the pricing and reimbursement access challenges of innovative medicines (an increasing number of such medicines being approved with an evidence base considered insufficiently mature as a firm basis for agreeing pricing) by moving away from negotiation on price alone towards Value-based (and more specifically, Outcomes-based) Healthcare.
The AIM4ALL Initiative represents an opportunity for Health Systems to:
be part of a multi-jurisdictional, data-ready network (of interest to Manufacturers)
benefit from a modular approach to the resolution of data landscape challenges
establish more insightful / reliable measures of patient benefit
gain faster access with greater confidence in clinical / cost effectiveness.
